In addition to our ongoing need for support of our riders and horses, we also need donations to help us maintain and upgrade the facilities at the Riding Center.
Teaching
Classroom
A
teaching classroom is planned so that disabled riders will be able
to attend alternative classes during inclement weather, watch instructional
videos, and participate in physical exercises supervised by a physical
therapist. The classroom will also provide room for a Parent Support
Center, where parents and caretakers of disabled riders can participate
in seminars, exchange information and ideas, and have access to
the center’s information resources relevant to the care and education
of their disabled child or adult.
Your gift of $10,000 will help construct a modular teaching classroom.
Permanent Restroom Facilities
Currently, the restroom in our residential structure is the only restroom facility available to students, teachers, and visitors.Your gift of $5,000 will help construct much-needed permanent restroom facilities with ADA approved access and fixtures.
Facility Operation and Maintenance
The
cost of maintaining the facilities, includes the costs for irrigation
equipment, gardening and landscaping equipment and supplies, the maintenance
of the vehicles and machinery used to maintain the surface and footing
of the arena, and the expenses for the repairs to the barns and outbuildings.
A monthly donation of $200 will assist in the cost of stable maintenance
crews.
General Operations
Your gift can be directed towards any of the specific categories listed, or you may make a general donation to the center to be used as it is most needed. Of course, your gift in any amount will be sincerely appreciated, and is fully tax deductible
